Mr Ajay Bulusu
Mr Ajay Bulusu is the co-founder of NextBillion.ai. Ajay is a change agent who excels at streamlining cross-functional collaboration and communication at NextBillion.ai. Previously, he led and nurtured the large GEO global team at Grab that accomplished mission-critical goals. Prior to Grab, Ajay also oversaw  operations, product strategy, negotiation, partnerships and outreach at leading multinationals, including Google, Indeed, and American Express.

In his decade long career, Ajay has held leadership positions across diverse industries, such as mobility, mapping, e-commerce, digital advertising, user trust, and transportation. After graduating with honours from Leeds University, Ajay earned a master’s degree in business analytics and consulting from University of Warwick.

Dr Uwe Jasnoch
VP Business Development, Director Presales APAC Hexagon

Dr Uwe Jasnoch joined Hexagon in 2007, serving as the global Vice President for Business Development as well as Director Pre-Sales for APAC at the Geospatial Division. Prior to this position, he was serving as EMEA Industry Leader for Government, Transportation and Defense, and Sales Manager Government and Defense for DACH at Hexagon.

In 2001, he founded the company GIStec. Dr Jasnoch was the managing director of the company. Before, Dr. Uwe Jasnoch had been heading the Geographic Information Systems department of Fraunhofer Institute for Computer Graphics from 1992 to 2003.

Between 1998 and 2005 he served as reviewer for the European Commission and between 2003 and 2007 as a curator for the Fraunhofer Institute for Computer Graphics. 

Ms Jennifer Choi
Head of Product Partnerships, GEO
Ms Jennifer Choi is the Head of Product Partnerships for Geo at Grab. She is passionate about Geo and developing new product categories and disruptive experiences for Grab in South East Asia and changing the lives of hundreds of millions of people including those living below the poverty line through technology.

She is a product leader with end-to-end experience in Product Incubation, Creative Design, Consumer and Enterprise Product Management, Product Development, Business Strategy, Product Marketing, and Enterprise Sales with experience in diverse industries (from Tech, Finance, Sports, and Fashion) across B2C, B2B platforms. She has experience in leading and managing successful multi-cultural and global teams.

Jennifer has previously worked for Microsoft, Diane von Furstenberg, the London Organising Committee of the Olympic Games, Barclays Capital and Lehman Brothers. She has an MBA from the Harvard Business School and a Masters in Public Policy from the Kennedy School of Government.

Mr Ng Siau Yong
Director, Geospatial & Data Division, Chief Data Officer
Singapore Land Authority
Mr Ng Siau Yong is responsible for driving and establishing a collaborative geospatial environment in Singapore, overseeing the formulation, design and management of the policy and programme for geospatial information governance, infrastructure and technology development, capacity building, and the use of geospatial systems in data analytics.

Under his stewardship, various important geospatial initiatives have been implemented. Among them, OneMap, the Singapore Government’s geospatial information and services portal, has won many international accolades. GeoWorks, an industry centre has been set up to promote geospatial business growth, drive geo-innovation, and foster a well-connected geospatial community. Siau Yong initiated the setting up of the Singapore GeoSpatial Scholarship to strengthen the building of geospatial manpower. He is actively involved in the UN Committee of Experts on Global Geospatial Information Management (UNGGIM) and chairs the National Institutional Arrangement Work Group until recently.

Trained as an urban planner, Siau Yong started his career with the Singapore Urban Redevelopment Authority. He later served the Ministry of National Development and the Ministry of Law in various capacities. Upon joining SLA, he first assumed the position of Director, Strategic Planning and Policy and later Director, Land Asset Management Services, prior to taking on the current portfolio.

Mr S. Satish Appoo
Group Director, Joint Operations & Technology
National Environment Agency

Mr  S Satish Appoo is currently the Group Director for Joint Operations & Technology at the National Environment Agency and he has held this post since 1 August 2014 where he provides leadership and oversight in the areas of Joint Operations, Environment Technology, Industry Development & Promotion, Information Technology and Transformation.

He is a Fellow of the Institution of Engineers, Singapore (IES) and a Chartered Engineer (Singapore) in Environmental & Water Engineering.

Mr Satish was awarded the Public Administration Medal (Bronze) in 2002 and the Public Administration Medal (Silver) in 2009 for his contributions to the public service.
